My painting is a work in progress.  I am working to make my clouds look more believeable.  In my opinion clouds don't look so uniform.   So my work continues.

I did it

Yeah!!!!  I am learning to post my post.  It was so frustrating to have saved my previous post and not be able to see them.  I learned today that besides saving the post I have to publish it for it to be seen.  I am very happy.

Step by Step my first painting

1.      Gesso
2.     Toning the Canvas
3.     Abstract the Forms (indicate where things go)
4.     Establish where your darks (shadows are) which is thinnest paint
5.     Medium tones (color in paints)
6.     Lightest tones (thickest paint)
7.     Dark to light, Thin to Thick
